“Flexibility gained from Network Spinal Analysis uncovers hidden rewards for Jackie!”
Life is so incredible. If we could just stop and listen more often, we would find that we are exactly where we need to be!!
During the couple of months leading up to the move, we were looking at houses to rent.
In college, I lived with up to 8 ladies at a time. It was awesome while it lasted but once it got to the phase where I was living in an “apartment” with my two girlfriends and each level of the house was an “apartment” making it a total of 11+ people (crazy old people too), I had reached my limit.
Wes and I wanted to be able to create a space of our own. We came down here with a couple of houses in mind, courtesy of Craigslist. There was one in particular that we loved.. the price was right, the pictures looked good, the landlord sounded sweet over the phone… we thought we’d see it and the lease would be signed the next day.
SO NOT WHAT HAPPENED.
The house was in a bad neighborhood, the yard had a little fort built into it as if someone had made a home out of it, the mosquitos were coming in by the dozen. Needless to say we called the landlord and canceled our appointment to meet later that day. In the midst of the short-lived disappointment, I suggested we head to a nearby coffee shop and look at some other potential possibilities.
Our GPS gave us the nearest cafes– a couple of Starbucks close by (of course) and a place called Land of a Thousand Hills Cafe. Why not something new? The cafe happened to be located in an apartment complex that sits alongside the Chattahoochee River with luscious green mountains hugging both sides of it!!
Our mental, spiritual, and emotional flexibility led us to unforeseen rewards!
After walking around we agreed that it just felt right and we went to speak with a leasing agent. And here I am now writing from our bedroom on the Chattahoochee!
I am about 10 minutes from LIFE with no traffic–which I’m finding doesn’t really exist in Atlanta so more like 15 minutes– and the property has 12 hiking trails, 2 pools, and is super close to the city. There are just so many great amenities we have here that we wouldn’t have access to at any house in our price range.
Flexibility is so key to getting the most out of our time here on Earth!!
Also, before I left NY, Dr. Josette got me in touch with the VP of the Network Spinal Analysis Club at LIFE (who is so awesome by the way–thank you Josette!). After emailing a couple times, she invited me to check out a meeting and I got rocked during an entrainment with Dr. Oppenheim, the NSA advisor. Being in a room with fellow NSA students got my excitement going…this is SO what I want to do.
