“Depressed and considering suicide”
When I first came to see Dr. Rabinowitz, at Family Network Chiropractic, I was deeply depressed and seriously considering suicide. I was taking a variety of medications prescribed by a psychiatrist I was seeing once a month as well as attending weekly therapy sessions with a psychologist.
Nevertheless, my depression continued to get worse, and the night before I came to see Dr. Rabinowitz I was beginning to lose touch with reality and my own sense of being. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before and went far beyond anything I could have imagined.
Being depressed is its own hell
Heaven and hell is an internal state of being and not an external manifestation. It is hard to put into words how awful it feels to slowly slip away into what can only be described as insanity, and is a feeling one can only experience to truly understand. I would not wish that on anyone.
I went to see Dr. Rabinowitz the next day because a friend of mine knew of NSA and the positive and transformational effects it engendered. It made no sense to me to see a chiropractor for an emotional/psychological condition, but at this point there seemed to be few options left as I was fighting a losing battle for my life.
Anxieties about choosing NSA removed upon meeting Dr. Marc
Although I still had no idea what NSA was, my first meeting with DR. Rabinowitz was positive and gave me a feeling of hope. He was nonjudgmental and warm, but most importantly I felt that he had a calm and peaceful spirit. In other words, it wasn’t an intellectual realization that this was perhaps the direction to take, but rather, it felt like this was the direction to go.
Within a couple months, everything changed for the better!
I began to notice the subtle effects of NSA as provided by Dr. Rabinowitz almost immediately. Within a couple of months I stopped taking medication and discontinued my visits to the psychiatrist, and eventually my therapy sessions with the psychologist.
I reconnected with my family whom I had isolated myself from for years, and also reconnected with myself. Moreover, I no longer seriously considered taking my own life. Suffice it to say, the world seemed warm and sunny, no longer cold and overcast.
This isn’t a miracle cure but it got my ball rolling
To be sure, all was not well overnight, nor did my personal issues evaporate into thin air, but I now had the resolve and energy to fight back and help myself. NSA gave me a new hope and a new perspective. It more ways than one it saved my life.
From the vantage point that I now possess it seems absurd that everyone isn’t undergoing NSA with DR. Rabinowitz. One does not have to reach the point of desperation nor does one have to hit bottom in order to benefit from NSA’s healing effects.
NSA takes you out of reactive and into proactive mode
NSA does not revolve around crisis management per se, but rather, it is centered upon life management. Rather than stopping once the crisis has passed, it has become a continuing journey for me. Its benefits can be felt by anyone and everyone in whatever state of being one finds themselves. It will change your life.
