“Affirmations: Network Spinal Analysis lets you be the architect of your life!”
I can officially say I’m a second quarter chiropractic student! Letting that exciting news sink in.
We had eight finals and by the last day (two tests a day) I was toast. You just get into this weird trance of study- eat- take test- repeat. It felt SO good and rewarding to finish up strong though. And how much I’ve learned in just a quarter! Such an exciting time.
I am capable of so much…of much more than I’ve told myself throughout my life.
I learned lots of useful tools for managing stress during finals week. My daily affirmations helped me stay positive and energized, as well as getting entrained, meditation and eating well (lots of brain food–walnuts, chia, salmon, blueberry shakes, pumpkin seeds). Check out this website for explanation of how each of these helps improve brain function: 10 Foods To Boost Your Brainpower
I use affirmations a lot to power through!
One of my favorite affirmations I like to use is “I am the architect of my life; I build its foundation and choose its contents.” We choose how we perceive our reality. The power lies within. I am strong I am capable I am confident. Whatever it takes to keep things in perspective– too often we lose ourselves in our work. Affirmations help us connect to our truth.
Two days after finals ended, I was on a plane to Jamaica. I had such an incredible time with my family. Six days in Negril together… we are so blessed. I feel cleansed and revitalized. Such an awesome way to start this break.
As the new year approaches I am setting goals for the near future as well as the distant. Trying to get more specific with my visions and writing it all down.
