“Adjusting to a lot of activity at Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic school!”
Slowwww down Sally!!!
This transition from having lots of free time to having none is crazy. I spent the beginning of this week just trying to keep my head above water.
For example. My trick to remembering the change in entropy in the Gibbs free energy equation (biochemistry) was comparing it to my own life (entropy is the measure of disorder in a system). It’s like that. The analogies I’ve been coming up with for Anatomy are even better. I’ll spare you the absurdity.
But as for all the goodies—I’m meeting someone new every day. I’m making a point to approach all of my classes with gratitude and excitement.
I wrote a wellness plan for Dr. Kirk’s Lifestyles class this week. The assignment was to think about our most important values and to observe how our wellness goals reflect those values. I narrowed those values down to health, freedom, love and family. It was interesting to take the time to put my wellness goals down to paper.
Stress of adjusting to chiropractic school lessened by funny teachers!
In this weeks osteology lab we got into the different bones and sutures of the skull. It’s time consuming to learn all of it but it’s one of my favorite classes. The professor, Dr. Demons, has an awesome sense of humor, which makes all the difference.
This weekend I’m going to a seminar called Life Vision. Badass chiros from all over the country are coming to speak about their journey and get us amped up about spreading the word!
