5 Energetic Intelligences: Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic
“5 Energetic Intelligences: Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic”
There is extensive scientific evidence that supports the existence of energy within and around the human body. Various disciplines talk about and use the energy within and around the body. Mystics, yogis, healers, and shamans have observed multiple levels of energies around the body for ages.
Reorganizational Healing (ROH) acknowledges the existence of your body’s subtle energy system and takes into account that you are comprised of at least five complex fields of energy and information (5 Energetic Intelligences).
Each are related to different levels of life-expression and consciousness. We call these various levels Energetic Intelligences (EI).
The 5 Energetic Intelligences also refer to the inner-states of consciousness associated with your body’s “subtle energy” systems.
The 5 Energetic Intelligences are:
- Bioenergetic Associated with your life-force, cellular function, and baseline survival
- Emotional Associated with your emotional expression, behavioral change and your response or reactivity
- Thought Associated with your stories, beliefs, models of reality and your sense of “self” or identity
- Soul Associated with your personal gifts, love, gratitude, compassion and the transpersonal
- Universal Spirit Associated with non-duality, community and the “ground of being”
Each individual has competencies and challenges around any one of the 5 Energetic Intelligences. By discovering your innate competencies and recognizing your challenges, you can learn how to utilize your energetic resources more effectively to improve your life.
Bioenergetic
The bioenergetic or life force energetic intelligence is developmentally the first to develop, developing in the fetus and continuing until about 2 years of age. It is located in and around the body. The life force energy is the energy that is used to fuel the season of Discover, is utilized in SRI stages 1-3, and during NSA care level 1A, 1B and 1C.
Energetic Source: Life force
Actions: Creates sustainable function in reaction to environment; organizes cellular function and biochemical constant expression; responsible for energy utilization, baseline survival
Energy Utilization: Biochemical and energy pathways
Requires: Constant sense of environment
When Challenged: Concerned with safety, survival, need to keep environmental demands, energy use constant or predictable
Emotional
After healthy development of the bioenergetic intelligence, the emotional energetic intelligence will develop starting around the age of two and continuing until teenage years. Emotional energetic intelligence is utilized towards the end of Discover, and if correctly harnessed can serve as the stepping stone or launching point into the season of Transform. Emotional EI is primarily utilized during level 2A of NSA care (“stretching”) and SRI stage 3 (“stuck”).
Associated with: Experience of variety, non constancy, reactivity
Energetic Source: Emotions; inward and outward expression
Actions: Instantaneous behavior change induced
Energy Utilization: Creates a radical shift in baseline bioenergetic function, pathways and energy utilization; fuel for change in baseline
Requires: Sense of rapid change in behavior
When Challenged: Difficulty in producing the range of emotions needed; inappropriate or generalized emotional response; when inhibited by higher intelligences, appropriate adaptive response is subjugated and emotional expression is not allowed
Thought
Once our emotional energetic intelligence has developed fully it provides a foundation for the thought energetic intelligence to develop. Thought intelligence is categorized into the lower and upper mental fields, which we will go deeper into detail about later. This intelligence is located about 10 – 20 inches off of the body. We use thought intelligence during the season of Transform, which corresponds to levels 2B and 2C of NSA and SRI stages 4-7.
Lower-thought energetic intelligence
Associated with: Beliefs, stories and routine actions; associated with “this or that”
Energetic Source: Simple mental focus in things, events, locations, words and routine tasks
Actions: Inhibitory or reactive; freezes event and special boundaries, as if to make time and space solid object to be inspected, held as real; replays events answers questions: “what, where and when?”; tends to use induction
Energy Utilization: Uses story or belief to maintain habitual bio- and emotional energetic behaviors
Requires: Rules, structure, questions: “what, when, where?”
When Challenged: Tends to fixate on an event or circumstance, rigid, mental chatter, argumentative, pushy, rules and beliefs equal reality and fight for dominance of story; routines and administration of life has primacy; difficulty with mental focus and memory and needs guidance to do simple tasks
Upper-thought energy intelligence
Associated with: Complex models of reality, culture, map of the world
Energetic Source: Complex mental focus; conceptual models, maps and reasons
Actions: Questions, challenges and establishes the story or metaphor for model or context; questions the status quo; Asks: “why and how”; focuses on distinctions; tends to employ deduction
Energy Utilization: Can direct lower mental, emotional and bioenergetic experience and expression
Requires: Reassessment of models, maps of life and reality; questions how and why?
When Challenged: Life becomes one’s models; models of reality equal reality; supremacy of the thinking mode replaces other relationships; tends to desire enlightenment of mind and tends to lead to exclusionary/elitist thinking; challenges with finding the answer to why or how; gets confused with contextual models
Soul
If the mental energetic intelligence develops sufficiently, then the soul energetic intelligence is able to emerge. Most people are not able to get to this point in the normal development process. NSA care assists people in connecting to the soul EI much more easily and consistently. The soul EI is the energy we use in the season of Awaken, during levels 3A, 3B and 3C of NSA, and in stages 8, 9 and 10 of SRI.
Associated with: Transpersonal and subtle energetic experience
Energetic Source: Spiritual focus
Actions: Gratitude, benevolence, love-based perceptions, compassion and behaviors; chest rises and heart as a structure and metaphor has primacy in life; internal validators in relation to simplicity; gratitude and one’s personal soul gifts and style; about resourcefulness; focused on similarities; recognizes others as also souls or spiritual beings; all of importance worthy of dignity as such
Energy Utilization: Engages other subtle awareness systems that are latent until the thought intelligence is more entrained with the heart and other structures; modulates, softens and directs all lower intelligences
Requires: Giving of one’s personal “gifts,” love, and gratitude
When Challenged: Does not accept or relate to culture or cultural rules; challenges with supporting and creating what is correct for the perfect soul; will help manifest what asked of it by thought energy intelligence; difficulty in knowing it’s attributes or expressing them if not given the opportunity or spaciousness to act; difficulty with love, compassion, gratitude for all
Universal Spirit
Following the soul intelligence is the universal soul energetic intelligence. This intelligence corresponds to the season of Awaken, is utilized during Advanced level 3 of NSA care, and in SRI during stages 11 and 12.
Associated with: Primacy of oneness or interdependence of all souls and beings-Non dualistic
Energetic source: Spiritual realm and non duality and oneness with integration of other energetic sources
Actions: Celebrates both uniqueness of individuals and the oneness of the all; remembers and integrates the ground of being or of creation; experiences creation as ongoing process; receives others and circumstances as gifts; finds and honors serendipity as the expression of reorganizational living; cares for and loves all of life; awakens community
Energy Utilization: Integrates all of the intelligences
Requires: Celebration of diversity within oneness, suspension of temporal and spatial sense of separateness when appropriate
When Challenged: Feels pain of all humanity as one’s own and can be overwhelmed by the personal inability to receive all as gifts; challenges in the ability to work with the interdependence of all and to celebrate the uniqueness/oneness paradox; has difficulty being in the center of timelessness and spaciousness of the paradox
